Maths Challenge

Congratulations to those people that completed a maths challenge activity last week for Maths Week. We had a variety of items and it was great to see the children taking responsibility for their own work when they shared it with the rest of the class.

As production practising is taking up a lot of our time, we have been focussing on positional language, ordinal numbers and the language of probability during maths time.

Assembly

Well done to Room 5!
Everyone did an excellent job of learning how working together requires a range of different skills.

Next week we will continue this idea as we start seeing the different skills that the Year 1 and 2 classes will bring as we practise for our big school production.
Please mark in your diaries September 6 and 8 for our evening performances.

Here we are practising our different parts for Friday's Assembly.

Last week we read the book Greedy Cat. Here is our version of it. Have fun reading it with your child.

Teacher Voice: Please check you child's book bag on a regular basis to retrieve notices.  I hope you saw the notice about bringing in a black top and bottom for the Production costume.

We are getting excited about being on stage with Room 8 for this Friday's assembly at 2:15.
